I had not noticed before. But I can explain why... Slackware no longer ships with packages for libmusicbrain and libtunepimp. These are required to compile kscd and because they are absent, the kscd binary does not get built. I do not think these packages will return to Slackware (pat removed them because of the bad code) so unless kscd can be built without them, yo will not see kscd back in KDE4. Eric Indeed.
